Frequently Asked Questions
Who are the sessions for?
Women and girls of all ages and experience levels — no prior BJJ or self-defense background is needed.
What should I wear and bring?
Wear comfortable workout clothes you can move in, and try to avoid jewelry that could scratch yourself or others. Bringing water is recommended.
Do I need to attend every topic in the rotation?
No — each session stands on its own, so you can join whichever topics fit your schedule.
Is my privacy protected if I attend?
Yes. We don't take or share photos or videos of participants, and we never disclose who attends a session. Your reasons for being there — and your presence itself — stay private.
Is this going to tell me what to wear, where to go, or what to avoid?
We don’t tell women and girls what to wear, where to go, who to go out with, or whether to travel alone. Responsibility for harm always sits with the person who causes it, never the person it happens to.

But harm does happen in everyday places, like parties, online, and while traveling. Our sessions give you the tools to spot warning signs early, act in the moment, and know your rights. Our goal is confidence, not fear.
